The journal focuses on how visual communication design can support and amplify community voices, facilitating understanding and dialogue between diverse groups. Its scope encompasses various design methods, technologies, and creative strategies that promote positive change and community empowerment.

  • Community-Centred Design: Case studies and research on participatory design processes that involve communities in creating visual solutions for local issues.
  • Cultural Representation in Design: Investigating how design reflects and respects cultural identities, fostering understanding and inclusivity in multicultural contexts.
  • Design for Public Spaces: Examining how design interventions in public spaces enhance community engagement, safety, and accessibility.
  • Visual Storytelling for Advocacy: Studies on how visual narratives, infographics, and media campaigns drive social change and raise awareness on critical community issues.
